What are we studying?

Navigation is a complex process with strategy and performance varying greatly between individuals. There are many factors that influence navigation strategy and performance. We are specifically interested in how both gender and age play a role in these differences and how both navigation strategy and performance differ between age groups ranging from pre-puberty to adulthood.

What does the study involve?

This study is conducted fully online. The study involves navigating through a virtual maze and locating specific objects within that maze. It will take approximately 45 minutes to complete, and each participant will be compensated with an Amazon gift card.

Who can participant?

We are recruiting individuals aged 8-17. You will need:

  1. Access to a Windows computer or laptop
  2. Normal or correct to normal vision (glasses and contacts are acceptable)
